Our most popular tour, the Windward Escape takes you on a 48 mile getaway through a diverse landscape. You'll enjoy the lush, quiet and green rain forest of Nuuanu Valley; the view and history from atop the Pali Lookout; the sights and scents of the Waimanalo ranches and a stunning shoreside stroll along the white sand beaches wrapping around our eastern shores. It is our most diverse route summing life on Oahu!
ROLLOUT TIME: Weekday mornings from 7am-9am
ROLLOUT LOCATION: Velohana Studio or your hotel lobby if you picked up/brought your own bike.
RIDE LENGTH: Approximately 48 miles; we can adjust at no charge to you (yes, we can take a detour!)
RIDE DURATION: Typically 3 - 4.5 hours depending on ability; we can adjust at no charge to you! (we just love to ride!)
RIDE PREP: Please pack sunscreen, 2 water bottles, helmet, bike, shoes, sunglasses. Road side repair kit on bike is advisable, as is heavier, puncture resistant tires like our preferred Vittoria Rubino Pro Endurance.
RIDE RENTAL: If you rented a bike, then you needn't worry, we've got you covered! You'll love our Argon 18 Gallium Disc bikes and we've fitted them with the needed roadside kit. You just tell us what pedals you'd like and bring your apparel including kit, helmet, shoes and bottles.
