Velohana offers a variety of cycling experiences to suit your preferences. Would you prefer a casually scenic coastal ride with ocean views and seasonal humpback whale sightings? Or perhaps a climb through the rainforest-canopied slopes of the Ko'olau mountain range, enjoying the scents of eucalyptus and plumeria? You could also test your limits on local Strava leaderboards, popular with pros and riders from around the world. For those focused on training, we can provide a power meter (based on availability) for classic power-based intervals, allowing you to maintain your fitness while on vacation.
Velohana specializes in private cycling tours for the cyclist, guiding you on unique routes best explored by bike. Our tours are designed around your interests, offering incredible views on world-class bikes with Coach Will providing both guidance and support.
BEFORE YOU BOOK, please note the following about tours & rentals:
- SAME DAY BOOKINGS: same day bookings for bike rentals require contacting us at the shop first. We may not be able to accommodate short notice requests given our schedule. Velohana is a small, performance road bike shop run by Coach Will alone with the help of riders within our community. A world renowned bike fitter and Olympic level coach, Will prioritizes the fitting experience and may not be able to accommodate same day requests for rentals when in the midst of serving a fitting client.
- PRIVATE PARTY: these are private tours for up to 3 riders in your party. These are not open group rides. We focus on one client at a time to ensure a personalized experience. If you or your cycling club are wanting to do a larger 'group rid
- BIKES SEPARATE: bike tour pricing does NOT include bike. You will need to book a bike should you need one. Please know your sizing details and pedal specifications. Our bikes are from Chapter 2, Look, Pinarello and Argon 18 as we pride ourselves on a most unique offering of high profile, high performance bikes for your enjoyment!
- BIKE AMENITIES: All bikes come equipped with roadside kit, cages, Garmin computer mount, helmet and pedals of your choosing (pending availability including Look Keo, Shimano SPD, SPDSL, Time MTB, Time Road, Crank Bros, Speedplay/Wahoo and more). Optional extras include power meter, lights and more. We have our own, in-house custom designed kit and water bottles too.
- EXTRAS: Additionally, we have Tacx Indoor trainers available to supplement your trip. Please specify your drivetrain preference (Shimano 10/11spd HG, Shimano Microspline, SRAM XDR or XD, or Campagnolo).

With Chris and Matt on a beautiful Saturday morning! Locals know these guys as two of the nicest guys around and I count it a privilege to ride with them!
It was a last minute decision, but these two were AWESOME and we had a wonderful 4 hours joking around! If you didn't plan to come and ride, we have you covered with bikes and they come with helmets and pedals, but we also have a full selection of our own custom kit.
